Classes
Beginners MMA/No Gi BJJ
The same as the MMA class but specifically taught for beginners and those being introduced to the sport of MMA. The coaches will pay particular attention to teaching you the fundamentals and making sure you improve in both skill and understanding of the sport at a comfortable pace.
Boxing
There is no better way to improve your punching skills or your fitness than the sport of boxing. Our boxing program will improve both your offensive and defensive punching skills through a series of drills. You will incorporate the heavy bag, speed bag, shadow boxing, and focus mitts to achieve these goals. The class will also contain fitness and conditioning work to get you fighting fit or just to lose weight and tone up.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (GI)
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique; most notably, by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat them. BJJ can be trained for self defence, sport grappling tournaments) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. It stresses movement,, technique, flexibility and fitness.
Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defence, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
Wrestling
Wrestling is the oldest sport in the world and one of the toughest. It is an Olympic sport, and the disciplines of Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling are commonly regarded as the best methods of taking an opponent down in a Mixed Martial Arts fight and are essential parts of any fighter’s repertoire. Wrestling is also highly rewarding and enjoyable in its own right, stressing technique, strength and fitness
Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques it is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes.
